régis golay,

Located in a natural site, discovered by accessing a small private road, this villa is located between the lake and the forest. Designed for a young couple with children, House in Black takes into account the specific characteristics of the site.

Views, wind, slopes and trees are all elements which have structured the project. Positioned on the ground as a meteorite, the house is both protected at the back whilst being open at the front.

The concrete facade is firmly closed on the forest side, with shaped openings reminiscent of cracks in the rock and open with large windows on the side with the lake view. Tinted as black volcanic rock, the outdoor envelope contrasts with the inside materiality: warm wood and light colours.

Organized on three levels, all living spaces are oriented towards the lake with the beautiful garden in the foreground.

The outdoor landscape elements are simple, with an enhancement of the natural spring on the site. The waterfront and a private beach privilege a new and relaxing lifestyle.
